Water or high humidity is very destructive to metal, wood and plastic laminate lockers.

Plastic lockers are perfect in environments such as high humidity, exposure to chlorinated water and harsh chemicals. They are aesthetically pleasing, and typically quieter than metal lockers. The color you see on the surface of the locker runs throughout the material, so scratches do a minimum of harm to the appearance. The HDPE plastic is extremely strong and resists dents, making it an ideal material for a long-term use. The plastic has a 20 year warranty against breakage or delamination under normal use.

Penco's solid plastic lockers are perfect for athletic facilities, school gyms, spas, pools, health clubs with a wet area, hospitals, marinas, beach properties, shower rooms, tropical climates, boating facilities or any high moisture environment where corrosion is a real concern. Penco's plastic lockers are rust, corrosion and warp-proof.

While these solid plastic lockers are more expensive than steel models, consider the cost of replacing rusting or corroding lockers every five years or so. These plastic lockers are an investment--and Penco warranties them for 20 years against delamination or breakage under normal use.

These lockers and accessories are built using premium quality materials, and have some features that distinguish them from competitors’ products while sharing other features that keep us in line with most bid specifications. Penco's mission is to provide a high quality product at a reasonable price while holding to industry best lead times. Quality and delivery are their two highest priorities.

The lockers ship as fully assembled, one-wide units. Accessories and miscellaneous hardware items like end panels, bases, number plates and coat hooks are attached on site.

All locker doors feature an easy lift handle and can be slammed shut with the padlock engaged and without lifting the handle a second time. Lockers are manufactured with their natural white sides, backs and tops exposed. Optional finished ends, finished flat tops, or sloping hood are available in matching or contrasting colors. Standard ventilation is provided using a series of 1x1/4” horizontal slots. Solid doors or different ventilation options are available on a production run basis.

All Lockers are manufactured with no legs. Optional bases are 3” high and provide a 3” toe kick. QuickShip bases are supplied as a single, one unit wide assembly, while a continuous base can be ordered for non-stock requirements. All bases are black unless custom ordered in another color.

The standard coat hooks on single, double and triple tier lockers are plated single prong metal hooks that are attached during installation. Molded plastic double prong ceiling hooks that are shipped loose, or solid plastic, factory-mounted side hooks are available in place of the metal hooks at an additional cost, and only on production lockers. Each door is prepped to accept the standard Penco number plate. “Blind” holes are predrilled from the rear of the door for accurate placement, but require being drilled through for number plate attachment.

Continuous sloping hood made of ˝” plastic is optional, and corner conditions are handled easily using a pre-cut mitered assembly supplied in two parts. Available continuous flat top panels allow you to cap the lockers in a matching or contrasting color while acting as a top filler in a corner or middle-of-run condition. Natural white corner panels for flat top lockers ordered without finished top panels are also available to cap the void created between lockers in corner conditions. Vertical fillers are available on a production basis and are also cut to size on site.
