![]() Box (Multi-Tier) Lockers Known as "box lockers" for thier compact dimensions, multiple-tier lockers allow numerous users in the smallest amount of floor space. Standard box lockers are available in three, four, five and six tier configurations. In the heavy-duty category, up to nine tiers are available. These lockers are ideal for storage of athletic gear or employee personal storage, and each compartment can be locked with padlocks or built-in locks. As with most of our lockers, box lockers are available assembled or unassembled (KD) in one-wide and three-wide configurations.
» View Penco 5 & 6 tier lockers One of the things many consumers confuse is the number of lockers versus the number of openings. We refer to lockers as "frames" and openings as "tiers". One frame (locker) with six tiers (openings) is called a six-tier locker. A standard three-wide configuration of six-tier lockers would give you 18 total openings. Purchasing box lockers doesn't have to be a mystery. First, figure out how many employees or users you need to accommodate. Then consider what is going to be stored in the lockers. If you simply need to provide secure storage of purses or other light items, you don't need a lot of storage space--perhaps a 12" wide by 15" deep by 12" high compartment would be adequate. If so, a six-tier locker, 12"x15"x12"/72" model would be perfect. If you have 36 employees, you'd buy six six-tier lockers, or 36 openings. If you need more storage space, consider a three, four or five-tier locker instead. Our sales reps are experts in helping match you with the best product to fit your need and budget.
