Big Dog's Charitable Contributions

If your business or organization has been affected by disaster, Big Dog Warehouse would like to help.

It's said to those whom much is given, much is expected. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have experienced such tremendous growth in recent years. As a result, we feel it our corporate responsibility to help those who have been affected by natural or other disasters.

Natural & Other Disasters

It's our policy to not profit on the misfortune of others. We will sell our products at cost (up to $5,000, with a nominal margin after that) to victims of hurricanes, floods, fires and other disasters. All we need is proof of loss from your insurance company. No catches--it's just our way of trying to help you get back on your feet.

Locker Donations

We occassionally get calls from organizations looking for locker donations. Back in 2006 we donated new lockers for ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. While we are not in a position (yet) to routinely donate new lockers, we've had numerous opportunities to place used lockers with worthy organizations.

We often sell new lockers to replace older (yet still useable) ones. When the lockers are still in decent shape, we get on the phone and call non-profits in that area to see if they'd like the lockers as a donation. The only thing we ask is that the non-profits provide the transportation for the lockers and assistance removing them, when possible.

Usually the organizations either cannot take all of the lockers or do not have the financial resources for the freight charges. However, if your non-profit would like to be on our "wish list" and is willing to cover the cost of freight, please contact Big Dog at (877) 452-6900 with your need. We can't make any guarantees except that we'll try to accommodate you.
